Assalamualaikum

Alhamdullillah the camp was a success. About 60 kids and 15 staff attended Alhamdullillah. All of them enjoyed the activities despite the pouring rain. They enjoyed the home cooked food. Alhamdullillah none had a food-poisoning. We kept our standards of hygiene and cleanliness Alhamdullillah. We had a nite of camp fire and bush walk The kids had been very well mannered and dress decently and never miss their salaats and education sessions. We also had our quiz nites and infotainment nites. I love Karim the cute chubby boy who does the action of how to make the wudu. Everyone loves him.

Theyve learnt how to control their tongue and anger Alhamdullillah. They get so annoyed when I keep on reminding them each time someone said the swear or rude word 'No 'S' word No 'I' word No 'B' word. SubhanAllah it must be a common practice among this kids to use those words in the house and to their friends around them. One kid was telling me 'what so rude about that word' and I said 'there is always a nicer way to tell someone to be quiet instead of yelling the 'S-Up' word.

They memorised some duas eg Amantubillah...... and memorised the 25 prophets of Allah etc. I must say it was a short beneficial camp.Wish it was longer. The best part is to see some of the kids coming to Friday nite usrahs bringing their friends along on a train all the way from Doncaster to Coburg in the cold weather to attend ustadh's lectures. MashaAllah.

InshaAllah hope these kids practise Islam and dont miss their salaats and hope it doesnt stop there after camp is over.

Last but not least nice to hear a feedback from parent saying 'at first my son was hesitant to come to this camp since he never been to one and now he is looking forward to the next one' .Alhamdullillah.

On behalf of YMA, I wish to say jazakumullahu khairan to all our team organisers, volunteers, for their time and efforts, latenite hrs to prepare for this wonderful camp.

May Allah (swt) placed you among the ranks of the pious ones InshaAllah.
