A couple are looking for a place...Shazia Haqueshazia_haque@yahoo.com Sun Jun 17, 2007 Asalam-o-Alaikum, A pakistani muslim family that i know of has recently got skilled migration. They are coming to Melbourne on the 25th of June 2007. They have been applying for rental accomodation on various sites (www.realestate. com.au , www.domain.com. au and various other sites as well) but since they are not physically present to do the inspections etc., they haven't had any success so far. They are a couple (both are electrical engineers) and 2 sons (aged 3.5 and 1.5) and they are willing to pay upto $270 per week on rent. I just wanted to request to let me know if anyone is giving away residential accomodation for rent or if the muslim community in melbourne/umma centre provides any assistance to new muslim immigrants to find accomodation in any way.
