After Class Activities?AA.
wats happing with the after class activities after food. i dont think wer playing soccer anymore??? any1 know?

Yes that's right for now. It's of concern since the brothers were really enjoying soccer, and now we need an alternative. Any ideas? We might move sports to Sunday's after the Fajr breakfast.
I guess the sisters can say the same also, as they don't have any programs after class (although many sisters leave for home right after class where as the brothers remain).
We are thinking at present of looking at having a gymnasium in the centre inshaAllah. Br. Mustafa is looking into it, and i'm tentatively also looking into it. This may be a good initiative, as we can keep fit, and bond with the brothers. The sisters will also be able to use the facilities. We could also have martial arts or self defense classes or even wrestling after class (need some mats etc). These are all possibilities, and just require some more deliberation and consultation.
Ideas welcome

Br Gecilmez- Are you talking about after class activities on Fridays? Are you for real!!!!! Its like 10.30pm!!! Dont your parents get worried if you come back late??
I think its best to have those activities on Sunday after fajr program. As for sisters its best there is no activities after the Friday class, most of them are singles and they need to be home before midnight:)
I noticed ppl still hang around after tues or fri classes until 11.30pm asking questions to Ustadh. SubhanAllah. Very serious students indeed!!!
Br Orhan I like that idea of all the activities that you mentioned. Gym should be the first priority I hope LOL. And wrestling??? oh boy!! May Allah help you brothers.

yeh i agree it does get a bit late for activities afterclass, but i must admit i do miss the whole late night soccer sessions with the brothers

i guess for some ppl its the only time they can see ustadh and ask him questions, especially our sisters who's access can be limited to just seeing him only on those nights
