Wa 'alaikumus salaam wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh,

More so than the age group, I believe the attendees will be chosen based on how seriously they are about learning and changinf their conditions. We will find out soon inshaAllah once the poster is up, but at this stage I would presume that it's for the 'serious student', so that could include a 12 year old who is very serious perhaps?

Wallahu 'alam

Assalamu alaykum,

Looking forward to more details insha'allah. I wonder what consitutes 'serious' though? Does this presume a certain level of knowledge already?

Assalaamu 'alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh,

Br. Ghaith, I guess from past YMA Senior Muslim Youth Camps, there was alot of activities other than the classes as well. Deen intensives will usually have alot of material covered along with target audience who are more mature and who wish to develop themselves and enact change within themselves inshaAllah. It would be very useful to have a the basics of Islam, the fundamentals of Islam in one's knowledge bank to make the most out of this camp, but that said, even beginners will benefit from it inshaAllah.

Assalamu Alaikum

this event is definately worth attending InshAllah. i believe last years intensive was very beneficial for those who attended, just be prepared for the lack of sleep
