Coburg Islamic Centre is pleased to announce the establishment of a new after school Islamic initiative called the 'after school enrichment program (ASEP) The aim is to provide a more comprehensive and consistent after school islamic learning environment to committed families with the objective of nurturing a new generation of capable and dedicated muslims.

When is it?
The program will run between 4pm to 6pm on Monday, Thursday and Friday nights of each week during school terms only.

What will be taught and by whom?
Ustadh Mahmud Kurkcu will teach Islamic Studies on Mondays whilst Sh Abdul Nasir will oversee Hifz Al-Quran on Fridays. Thursday afternoon is reserved for Arabic, however until such a time that a teacher is finalised, it will serve to revise both other subjects.

Who can apply?
Students should be between 7 and 11 yrs of age. Only 20 positions are available.

How do I apply?
If you need further clarification of any of the above or for an application form please contact the Secretary Sr Hatice P. 0424822184. There's a fee involved.

Application forms must be received no later than July 20
Interviews for prospective applicants will be held on July 23 between 4.30-7.30pm. You will be contacted by our office to inform you of the time of yr interview
You will be notified of the outcome of yr application by July 27
An orientation/information function will be held on July 30 beetween 4.30pm and 6pm
Classes will commence on Fri Aug 3rd at 4pm and will be held at Coburg Islamic Centre, 31 Nicholson St Coburg.
