Assalaamu 'alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh,

Ustadh has been going over the 12 deadly diseases of the heart - from the Nafsul Ammarah level.

Some of these include, Kufr, Shirk, Hasad, Malice, Ostentation, Anger, Riya, Hiqt, etc etc.

If you haven't been able to attend a class, we personally recommend that you do attend and benefit from what's being taught - espcially because it involves the diseases of the heart!

Once these are studied, then their cures will inshaAllah be looked at - The Purification of the Heart.

When? Tuesday Nights at 7:30-8pm - Coburg Islamic Centre - 32 Nicholson Street, Coburg Masjid - Level 1 (upstairs Hall) - All serious students welcome to attend.

Since you're not there last night, just to add that, food will be served before class at 7.30pm since students arrived around that time from uni or workplace. So InshaAllah class will start at 8.30pm - 10.30pm. I think that is much better

Last night Ustadh talk about principles of our tariqah. InshaAllah will try to share notes here for those who missed out

Last night talk about Principles of Naqsbandiyyah. refer to notes in another thread

Next week will be our last class InshaAllah for Ramadan break. InshaAllah will let you know when it will resume

another intresting class, i really like the story about the man and his proffesion of love to a woman, but when he was told she had a very beautiful sister, changed his mind quite rapidly. it goes to show that some human beings if not most seem to never be content.

also the story at the end was rather unexpected, but possible. May Allah protect us from falling into such traps, ameen
